welcome

to the day after.

At the day after, we believe that storytelling has the power to heal and connect people. We know that stories help us feel empathy and let us know we are not alone.

So, we have created a platform with one objective, to establish a vibrant community where individuals can find solace, understanding, and resources to navigate their grief journey through hearing stories of shared experiences.

We believe that storytelling has the power to heal and connect people.

We understand firsthand the challenges and complexities that come with the loss of a loved one. Having gone through this type of loss ourselves, we know how isolating and overwhelming it can feel.

We aim to provide a safe space for individuals to share their stories of grief through our network of podcasts. By sharing these stories, we hope to create a sense of community and understanding where individuals can find inspiration, strength, and guidance from others who have walked a similar path.

At The Day After, we believe no one should have to endure grief alone. We are committed to creating a supportive and empathetic community where individuals can find comfort, hope, and understanding.

At The Day After, we believe no one should have to endure grief alone

Join us on this journey of healing and finding strength in shared stories. Together, we can navigate through grief and build a community of support and resilience.

Ashley and her mom

Hi, I'm Ashley Infantino, co-founder and co-host of the day after.

April 8, 2002, is a day that I will never forget; my hero, my role model, my mother, lost her life at the young age of 32 to breast cancer. I was only 9 years old, and her death changed me in ways I never thought possible.

Within months of her loss, I was approached to help a classmate through a similar loss, which has been a pattern throughout my life. With my cousin CJ, I'm honored to create a platform for others to share their stories and navigate grief together.

Ariana and CJ

Hi, I'm CJ Infantino, co-founder and co-host of the day after.

Ariana was my champion. Three children later and twelve years together, we got the news - Ariana had incurable metastatic breast cancer.

For the next five and a half years, she fought and lived. We traveled the world. We lived thirty years in five. And on September 30, 2020, during a worldwide pandemic, she died with her three children and me by her side.

We did life together for seventeen years - since high school. During that time, she stood with me in the battle for my mind. And in the end, I was able to stand with her in the fight for her life.

I believe we all have "Our Stories." This is only a snippet of mine. But I know I am not alone. I sincerely believe that everyone has a story, a struggle, a battle. It is what makes us all human. It is what connects us. We live in a world of pain and suffering.

And I want to spend the rest of my life sharing those stories so others know they are not alone.
